Position
Summary:
The Operator for the Pick and Pack location is a cross-trained position consisting of Picking, Packing, Warranty, Light Assembly, and Customization.
This person must be knowledgeable in all areas, be willing and able to float between each of these areas daily as the needs of the business change, and perform tasks at the highest quality level to meet our company standards as well as the consumer expectation.
Essential Functions:
Works with the shift's leadership group (Group Leader, Key Holder, Trainer, and Manager) Support team initiatives and perform all appropriate tasks assigned by leadership Understands and follows standard operating procedures and quality guidelines for assigned position Maintains a clean and safe work areas while following safety practices and procedures Read, understand, and perform job according to the different business systems and production documents while maintaining on-time performance by MCD Ensure that all orders are completed and matched Report material, production, or equipment problems Actively support and participate in continuous improvement process, facilitate change Rotate and restock material while focusing on inventory accuracies Move palletized material using pallet jacks Order Assembly which includes picking orders and building product (personalized classic, stainless, and powder coat) Assist in personalization areas for data entry, order processing, and electronic filing which include Graphics, X2, and Laser Etch Process all warranty orders from incoming mail and from our Tervis stores by reviewing returns, data entry, extract designs, decorate new tumblers, weld, pack, and ship Communicate with other team members and shifts as required Actively rotate within your certified positions Perform routine maintenance as necessary on printers and machinery Keep work areas and facility clean and organized Special Projects and other miscellaneous activities as needed Displays key behaviors of the Tervis Elements of Success Working Conditions:
