Summary:
Manage assigned projects from initiation through completion ensuring the customers expectations are met while maximizing Adams Group's potential profit.
Critical items include but are not limited to ensuring specifications are met, budgets and timelines are met and all departments within Adams Group are kept informed and up to date on any and all relevant changes.
Essential Functions:
Review all project scopes prior to hand off meeting note any challengesManage information to all departments:
drafting, engineering, manufacturing and installationWorks closely with Drafting Manager throughout the drafting processCommunicate with Project Draftsman and Engineers on what the expectations and needs are for given projectsReview shop drawings prior to submittal to General ContractorAttend work order release to verify/release to production as necessaryIdentify long lead time itemsFurnish Purchasing with preliminary and final material requirements for projects when necessaryMonitor and address back orders - adjust communication to appropriate parties accordinglyWorks closely with the Plant Manager to determine work flow necessities and schedule accordinglyManage project schedule and coordinate schedules with clientsResolve project scope issues and develop contingency plan if necessaryManage field measurement process with Project SuperintendentCreate and manage change order requestsMaintain accurate information by regularly communicating with General ContractorCoordinate installation schedule with General ContractorAttend jobsite meetings (which may require out of town and overnight travel) in conjunction with Field SuperintendentWork within the confines of a budget and know projected contribution margin at financial review meetingsMaintain accurate schedule of values and maximize billings amounts on all assigned projectsCoordinate subcontractor installation with Field SuperintendentDetermine which subcontractors are used on outsourced items and proactively seek new vendorsGenerate job summary document on each projectTreat each internal and external customer respectfully and communicate both good and sometimes not so good information when necessaryMaintain a positive attitude towards personal, department and company goals
Qualifications:
Required education and
Experience:
High school diploma or GEDClean driving recordPossess working knowledge of the architectural woodworking business including, but not limited to cabinets, trim work, and solid surfaceAbility to read blueprints, shop drawings and cut listsStrong overall computer (i.
e.
, Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe, Internet, Facebook) and architectural drafting skillsExcellent ability to multi-task and keep up to date with knowledge of project processSelf-starterAbility to work with little to no supervisionStrong communication skills; both written and verbalStrong organizational skillsAbility to work well under pressure and deadlinesBe a catalyst for changeClean and neat appearanceOther duties:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
